Physical Therapy Services

Physical therapists or "PT's" are health professionals who evaluate and treat people with various health problems resulting from injury or disease. Patients with orthopedic and neurological abnormalities commonly require physical therapy services. PT's assess joint motion and stability, muscle strength, endurance, and activities of daily living such as transferring, walking, and running. Physical therapy can prevent injury or the worsening of existing conditions or disabilities and maximize independence and improve the quality of life. Physical therapy is a cost-effective means of acquiring the maximal level of function and independence possible.
